RX-78-2

Decided to paint one of my older ones from before with some left-over paint. Ran out of red and white halfway through so most of it is unpainted (the grey). Repainted it from the original grey you see in the arms and legs to the normal gundam colours. Might finish it up some other time. Or not.

Guest Blog Part 2

In an attempt to revive this dying blog, Hilary has decided to write another guest blog. Yay. I was told to add something to make it less boring, but I have nothing to say and exams are near. Anyways here it is:

I’m trying to be nice to her, so I’m not going to do any insults. Yay =]

So I thought a long time about what to write about. Because my last guest blog was pretty much just assembling a bunch of things other people wrote with random interjections from me and that is cool but not as cool as it could be. And after all that thinking, I still don’t know what to write about.

I feel so sick. Starbucks Gingersnap latte is nice if you get a tall but do not get a grande or a venti, it’s just too much and makes you want to throw up.

Ahaha Starbucks story. I head down to Patrick’s one day, but I’m like half an hour early for my appointment, so I go to “LIVE HOURS” [as opposed to kill hours] at Starbucks. I ask for DEEPBREATH a tall shaken green tea lemonade, no ice. The guy behind the counter looks at me and then grabs a venti cup. So for those who do not know their Starbucks sizes, venti is the largest size, the cup is like a foot long >__< tall is the smallest [ironic, I know, it's American overconsumption] and it’s about half the size of a venti. So yeah and then the cashier charges me for a tall but the barista is like “oh yeah this cup is pretty tall WINK WINK” and then proceeds to fill it with my green tea lemonade. OMG IT WAS HUGE and I honestly took half an hour to drink it, so mission accomplished, I got to Patrick’s on time.

That was a random story, so I might as well finish my stories about going to Patrick’s because it was super interesting. I’m walking down Queen to Patrick’s and there’s a guy. On a big intersection. PEEING. Like right in front of everyone on the intersection. ACTUALLY. And all the pedestrians are like walking in a circle trying to avoid the wet patch. And while he’s doing so, a random girl is standing there yelling at him, saying he’s disgusting and blah, they were outside an art building so I’m guessing they’re both starving street artists. The guy was laughing and insulting her back. While peeing. Good. Multitasking skills. WOW.

As well, on the way to Patrick’s, after I passed peeing guy, I was stalked by like an old fifty year old woman who told me she liked my scarf and then followed me for three blocks. IT WAS SO SCARY I thought I was going to get mugged by an old ratty woman =(

So yeah I would tell the rest of my Patrick stories but I don’t want to.

I’m liking this song more and more, haha.

Speaking of Jay Chou’s lyrics, I hear this kind of stuff a lot: “Why’s he rapping about listening to your mother?” and “He’s such a wannabe rapper.” etc etc. So what? He can talk about whatever he wants, its his style and his music. Besides, what’s more meaningful: rapping about respecting your mother and cherishing what you have, or rapping about banging some whore in a dark alley and then proceeding to smoke crack while gunning down some rival gang?
